Introduction

The blackout dates feature in StudioHub allows you to pause automations on specific days, such as holidays or days when your business is closed. This guide will walk you through the steps to configure these blackout dates in your system, ensuring that no messages are sent to clients on these selected days.

Instructions

Step 1: Preparing the Dates

It is recommended to set blackout dates for the entire year in advance. Preparing a list of dates beforehand will make the process smoother.

  1. Open a text editor like Notepad (Windows) or TextEdit (Mac).

  2. Enter the dates in the Notepad (as shown in the image below) using the U.S. date format m/d/yyyy, separated by commas and spaces. For eg.: 7/4/2024, 12/25/2024, 1/1/2025.

    Example:

    • Independence Day: 7/4/2024

    • Christmas Day: 12/25/2024

    • New Year's Day: 1/1/2025

Note: Leading zeroes are not required for single-digit days or months

  3. Select all and Copy the dates, which we will later paste in the end.
