Hello hello!
Welcome back!
Before I start explaining anything, to start the automation training, the first thing I'm going to do is take you to the workflow builder in StudioHub. The workflow builder is the place where you create automations.
Follow me!
How to get to the workflow builder
- Click on automation
- Click on " + Create workflow"
- Click on "+ Start from scratch"
The screen where you are now is the StudioHub workflow builder. Again, this is where you build all of the StudioHub automations!
In the next few videos, I'm going to give you a tour of this place, so that you can become familiar with it.
To keep the videos short, I'll cover a few sections of the workflow builder in each video.
In this video, I'm going to quickly cover the top section.
Let's begin.
At the very top, in the middle of the screen, you have the name of the workflow. You can click on it and change the name.
Once you change the name, you'll need to save the workflow.
You want to get used to pressing the "save" button often while you're creating or adjusting workflows.
Anytime you do something, make sure that you save it.
On the left-hand side of the "save" button, you'll see the workflow history button.
To explain what this is, let me make an analogy.
Pretend that pressing the "Save" button is like taking a picture. Anytime you press the "Save" button a new picture gets taken and gets put into a folder.
If you want to see a history of all the pictures you've taken, you click on the history button, and it's like opening the folder with all the "Saved" pictures in it.
Now, let's skip the next row of settings for now, and cover these later.
Let's go to the workflow builder itself.
However, I'll cover that in the next video. See you there.
