Introduction

Because you're about to start your StudioHub journey, I'm creating this video to give you a heads-up about a potential issue with StudioHub that might come up. I want to tell you about this issue in case it comes up, so you'll know what to do.

The issue is that StudioHub might limit the amount of text messages that you can send per day. What this means is that as you start using StudioHub, maybe within the first couple of weeks, you'll find that StudioHub doesn't allow you to send any more messages. StudioHub will give you an error like this:

Notice how it says "you've reached your SMS sending limit..."

First, let me explain why this happens, and then I'll explain what to do about it.

Ramp Up Model: What Is It and How Does It Work?

In StudioHub we partner with a company called Twilio for our phone services. It's thanks to them that you are able to buy a phone number, make phone calls, and send text messages from StudioHub.

The problem is that the company Twilio has something called a "ramp-up" time.

What this means is that when you first buy a phone number and send texts on StudioHub, you'll only be able to send out up to 100 messages per day. This is a limitation set by Twilio. The reason they do this is to prevent spammers from buying phone numbers and spamming people with texts.
If this ever happens to you, the following error message will appear. (You can view this message by clicking on the red triangle that appears next to the unsuccessful message).

If you ever see the error above, please send an email to support@getmorestudents.com

In your email, please let us know that you have a text message limit error so that we can troubleshoot this for you.

It usually can take a few hours to get it fixed for you.

Again, I wanted to create the video to give you a heads-up, in case it ever happened to you. Thank you for watching!
