Introduction

Hello hello!

In this video, I'm going to quickly cover the form notifications settings.

If you ever want to receive an email notification to yourself or send an email to anyone who fills out your form, there are two options to do this.

Option 2 is better than option 1, but I'll cover them both here.

Option 1 - Form notifications & Auto Responder

I do not recommend that you use this option. The only reason why I'm covering it here is because if you build your own forms, you will encounter this setting, and I want to explain here what it does really quickly.

At the top of the form settings, you'll see a little bell icon.

If you click on it, you can toggle on the notification or autoresponder buttons.

The notifications sends you an email whenever someone fills out the form.

The autoresponder, sends an email to the person as soon as they fill out the form.

It's simple to use, but the problem is that if you turn any of those 2 features on, and you forget them, it will be hard to remember that this feature is turned on.

The better option is to create an automation to do this, which is option 2.

Option 2 - Automations

StudioHub allows you to create automation that fires whenever someone submits a form.

Here's an example:

{Show example of a form submission automation}

As you can see, the automation starts whenever the form is submitted.

To learn how to create automations, watch our automation training after you finish watching this training on form creation.

I'll link the training below this video at the bottom of the page.

Don't skip to that training yet because there's still more information you need to learn about forms covered in the FAQ section of this training.

Again, don't skip the FAQ section.

Conclusion

With that said, that is all I have for this video! Those are the 2 ways you can create notifications anytime someone submits one of your StudioHub forms.

In the next video, I'm going to walk you through an even more advanced feature inside the form builder called "conditional logic"

I'll see you there!
