In this video, I'm going to give you a quick tour of the Meta ads manager.
Because this can get complicated, I'm going to keep it simple and only speak about the things that you need to know for this training.
Before we being, I will repeat again what I mentioned in the last video: depending on when you see this training your ads manager might look different. However, although Meta might look different, most likely, everything that I'm going to teach you in this video will still be applicable, even if the look changes.
Once you're inside your ads manager, the first things I want you to notice are the 3 tabs called "campaigns" "ad sets" and "ads".
Campaigns, ad sets, and ads are terms that are going to come up often, so I'm going to make a simple analogy here to help you remember these terms.
Let's pretend you're collecting Pokemon cards or baseball cards.
Think of the Meta ads manager as a filing cabinet
Think of the campaigns as the drawers
Think of the ad sets as binders for collectible cards. Those binders get stored in the drawers.
Think of the ads as the collectible cards in the binders.
They are containers within containers.
It's kind of like Russian dolls.
Where the small doll lives in the bigger doll which lives in the bigger doll.
The ads live inside the ad sets, the ad sets live inside the campaigns.
You can toggle between the tabs by clicking on them.
If you click inside any campaign, it will take you into the ad sets for that campaign. Then, when you click into the ad sets, it will take you into the ads for that campaign.
Now, let's go back to the campaign level, so that I can teach you how it works.
I'm going to hover over any campaign, and click the "edit" button.
This is going to show me how the campaign is set up.
At the campaign level, the ad budget is chosen.
When you go into the adset level the adset level, you can see how many people your ad is estimated to be targeting. The higher the number, the more your campaign will potentially reach.
When you click into any of the ads, you will be able to see the image and videos that you are using, as well as the ad copy.
That's it!
That's our quick tour of the Meta ads manager. See you in the next video.
