In this video, I'm going to quickly cover something called "black out dates".
A feature our clients requested is the ability to pause StudioHub's automation on certain days of the year so that StudioHub doesn't send any messages on those days. For example, Christmas, New Year's Eve, or vacation time when their business is going to be completely closed. We called this feature "black out dates".
By giving StudioHub a set of dates, you can pause StudioHub's automated messages, so that people don't receive any messages from you on those dates.
If you have any dates like this in mind, please take a moment to write these down in a Google doc.
Here's the format in which you need to write these down: m/d/yyyy
For example:
Independence Day: 7/4/2024
Christmas Day: 12/25/2024
New Year's Day: 1/1/2025
Note how the leading zeroes are not included in days or months with a single digit, and years are fully written out.
