Whenever you upload a video to the media section in StudioHub, you will be required to upload a thumbnail. A thumbnail is a cover for your video, and is shown to clients before the video is played.
In this article we will outline the steps on how you can take a screenshot of your video that you can use as a thumbnail.

For Windows
Select and open the video you want to create a thumbnail for.
Scroll through the video to the part you want to capture as a screenshot.
On the keyboard, press Window + Shift + S to capture the screenshot and select rectangular snip on the top of the screen.
Your cursor will change to a crosshair ⌖ . Click and drag to select the area of the screen you want to capture.
After capturing, click and open the bottom right notification.
Click on the Save icon as shown in the image below.
A window will appear, rename or choose your preferred folder and then Click on Save.
Once you have the screenshot, you can proceed with uploading your video + thumbnail to the media folder in StudioHub. You can navigate back to the article: How to upload a video or How to use the ads launcher
For Mac
Find the video you want to capture a screenshot from and double-click to open it.
Scroll through the video to the part you want to capture as a screenshot. Pause the video when you reach that section.
To open the cropping tool, press the following keys on your keyboard at the same time:
Command + Shift + 4.After pressing the shortcut keys, your cursor will change to a crosshair ⌖. Click and drag to select the area of the screen you want to capture.
Once you've selected the desired area, release the mouse button. The screenshot will be automatically saved to your desktop.
