In this article, you'll learn how NOT to get hacked. We created this article because we've had many clients in the past who have gotten hacked, so we want to teach you what to look out for to avoid getting hacked.

What you're about to see below are different messages from hackers pretending to impersonate Meta, trying to get you to click a link and fill out your password information.

What you want to notice in these messages is that these hackers are clever and creative and they'll try to imitate their profile picture, they also use different wording and sometimes sound threatening, they usually don't have the verified icon, and the profile name is somewhat different. Meta's verified profile is called Meta Business Support (and it contains the verified blue icon.

It is highly important to note that you should NEVER click on any links provided by them. This cannot be overstated enough. Also, tell your team to NOT click on those messages.

If you have any questions, you can reach out to support@getmorestudents.com and we'll be more than happy to assist you.
